Senior Digital Modeler (Digital Lead)

Assignment description and main responsibilities

You will be Digital Lead for the Connected Workshop team. Within the scope of the team are several data products, one of them is Aftermarket Connect, a data service that collects, stores and distributes aftermarket derived data to several consumers within The Company. Another product is the Aftermarket Analytics platform which provides the analytics (advanced and predictive) layer. The team is also accountable for the front-end layer providing users with data that support their decision making. Your team consists of a Business Analyst/Subject Matter Expert, data engineers, data scientist/machine learning engineers, back-end and front-end developers. You will have stakeholders both within the Business organization (mainly Quality) and within Digital.

The Digital Lead owns the vision and the roadmap for the Connected Workshop digital team and is accountable for planning & execution. They are also accountable for specific business KPIs, and responsible for ensuring capacity demand and supply matching is upheld, on a long-term and sprint-basis. They work closely with their team to ensure business value and user feedback is translated into new developments when necessary.

Through their understanding of the market/industry, customer needs and their tech savviness, Digital Leads ask the right questions and thereby steer their team in the right direction. They are also relationship builders, working alongside external and internal stakeholders to support their team in developing their digital products/services/platforms.

Node.js, Typescript, React.js, GraphQL, • NET Core, C#. Applications run in AWS on a serverless architecture using lambda functions and services such as DynamoDB. The companay’s Digital department is a key enabler of the entire business, leveraging best-ofbreed technology to create critical digital products across several domains. The Digital Aftermarket area provides digital solutions to support everything that happens after the vehicle hand-over and the customer happily jumps into the car and drives away.

Aftermarket covers a wide spectrum from the service workshop experience to new business development areas such as predictive maintenance based on AI and machine learning. We are now looking for an experienced and technical Digital Lead who can work with the company in creating a premium car ownership journey.

Main responsibilities:

Setting the vision for the Digital Team, and communicating this effectively to the team members as well as stakeholders outside the team and Digital Product Area Collaborating with e.g., Digital Product Manager, the Solution Architect and the Data and Analytics team, to ensure the overarching Digital vision and solutions align with the team’s strategy and requirements Setting the end-to-end output strategy, from inception to production, for the team’s digital products/services/platforms Setting prioritization in terms of capacity, including flagging change in resource needs to

DPM

Responsible for following up on team-level KPIs and OKRs, and if needed steer the team’s direction to meet set KPIs/OKRs Supports the DPM in budget-planning for the Digital Product Area

Competence requirements

Proven track record of performing in a product owner or tech lead role with data products Demonstrable skills of leading teams towards a product vision in an agile setting Significant experience in developing end-to-end Data oriented Solutions Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech, design, and business Efficient communicator, comfortable speaking with business stakeholders Familiar with ML-based production systems, Databricks, MS Azure ML and MLOps Familiar with data management, data security, and access control in the cloud Familiar with Big Data technologies desired — Hadoop, Spark, H20.ai, Cloud AI platforms, containerization Proven knowledge and understanding of standard precision practices, technology and supporting industry principles Experience within automotive is an advantage, aftermarket is a merit.
